How it Works

WhitePages.com users can add their cell phone number or email address to allow people to contact them directly or through private text or email messages.

You can add your cell phone number or email address to WhitePages.com by following these instructions:

1. Select the Add Your Listing tab in the main navigation and click the "Create your listing now" button on the page
2. If you choose to receive private text messages, you must follow the instructions on the confirmation page and on the text message you will receive from lookup (566587) in order to publish your listing to WhitePages.com.
3. If you choose to receive private email messages you must follow the instructions on the confirmation page. We will send you an email with a link that you will click to verify your email address and publish your listing to WhitePages.com.

If you have selected to hide your cell phone number a link to "Cell: send text message" will appear in your listing. If you have selected to hide your email address, a link to "Email: send a message" will appear in your listing. People wishing to contact you will simply click on the desired link and fill out a short form to send a personal message.

Cell Phone Messaging Opt-out

To stop receiving text messages (when applicable) and remove your cell phone listing from our site, you can opt-out from receiving future messages by replying to a message sent through the message service with the word "STOP". When you reply with STOP, your entire listing will be removed from WhitePages.com and you will no longer receive text messages sent from WhitePages.com.

When you send the word STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, and STOP ALL to "lookup", you will receive the following message:

This confirms your listing has been permanently removed from WhitePages.com and you will not receive any additional text messages. Reply HELP for assistance.

Alternately, you can remove your listing on WhitePages.com by following the listing removal instructions. If you need additional assistance, email customer support or call our toll free number at 800-336-1327.

Email Messaging Opt-out

To stop receiving email messages (when applicable) and remove your email address from our site, you can opt-out from receiving future messages by removing your listing on WhitePages.com.
